You edit visually and roll back often
Atoms has a visual editor, a code editor and a Versions list where you choose “Restore to this version,” per its agents guide. DoAny is chat-only, with saved versions but no rollback button.

The reasons
Atoms researches an idea, builds it, hosts it and markets it with SEO pages and Google Search ads. These six points come from its own pricing, help and legal pages, plus one dated review-site notice.
Build credits pay for agent work; a separate dollar balance pays for the live app. “Published-app Cloud & AI usage is separate from build credits” (Atoms plans guide), and Atoms publishes no rate card for it (wallet guide).
Asked whether you can buy extra credits, the pricing FAQ answers “You can upgrade to a higher plan at any time.” Upgrading doesn’t refill the hosting balance either (Atoms credits guide).
Free’s “15 credits / day” is capped at 25 a month, and the terms offer free credits “solely for trial and personal use.”
“Export requires Pro” (share guide), and Free users who pick GitHub go to the Plans page (GitHub guide). Support is “available for paid users” (support guide).
The refund window outside the EU, UK and Turkey, and it closes once your credits start being used. A yearly plan is non-refundable once the year begins (refund guide).
On September 27, 2026, Trustpilot showed no score for Atoms, “due to a breach of our guidelines,” and said it had removed a number of fake reviews. Of the 64 reviews it shows from the past year, 41% give the top mark and 42% the lowest.
Two more things are worth knowing. Atoms’ marketing sometimes runs ahead of its documentation: its ads page promises Meta, while the ads page’s FAQ says “Meta support is on the roadmap.” And some news is good: since September 8, 2026, Atoms’ privacy policy says it doesn’t use your data to train AI models, which matches DoAny.
Side by side
Atoms is the first row, for reference. “Yearly” means billed annually and paid up front.

| Option | Entry price | Best for | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Atoms (today) | Free $0; Pro $20/mo, or $15.80 billed yearly ($189.60). (Atoms pricing) | Research to launch, with a visual editor, Android builds and a Google Ads agent | Hosting bills from a separate balance; export needs Pro |
| DoAny | Free $0 with no card, and Free can sell; Pro from $25/mo. (DoAny pricing) | One predictable bill with hosting included, selling on a $0 plan, and growth work after launch | No visual editor, native mobile apps or ads agent; a custom domain needs Pro, billed monthly only |
| Base44 | Free $0; Starter $16/mo billed yearly or $20 monthly. (Base44 pricing) | The closest like-for-like: a built-in database, sign-in and hosting, with 20% off yearly | Two credit pools, messages and integrations; GitHub integration is listed from Builder ($40/mo yearly) |
| Lovable | Free $0; Pro $25/mo or $250 a year. (Lovable pricing) | Credit top-ups and custom domains on a $25 plan | Hosting, the backend and in-app AI draw on building credits; at zero, the backend pauses |
| Emergent | Standard $20/mo or $17 billed yearly; Free can’t deploy. (Emergent pricing) | Building web and mobile apps, with extra credits for sale | Each live app uses 50 of Standard’s 100 monthly credits |
| Rocket | Free $0; Pro $25/mo platform fee, or $20 billed yearly. (Rocket pricing) | Research and business-intelligence tasks alongside building | The database is your own Supabase project, billed apart; a live launch on your domain needs Pro |
One by one
Best for: one predictable bill. Hosting is included on every plan and uses no credits, so at zero credits the site stays live. DoAny builds a web app with accounts, a database and Stripe checkout on its own backend; Annie does the growth work after launch.
Watch out for: no visual editor (you edit by chat) and no rollback button, though every change is saved as a version. No native iPhone or Android apps, no ads agent and no visitor analytics dashboard. The checkout on the sites DoAny builds is Stripe only at the moment, with no coupons, free trials or sales-tax handling. DoAny bills monthly only.
Price: Free is $0 with no card: 5 credits a day on one balance shared by any number of companies, and it can take real card payments once you go live with Stripe. Pro starts at $25/mo for 100 monthly credits plus 5 daily credits and a domain you own. See DoAny pricing or DoAny vs Atoms.
Moving from Atoms: DoAny imports existing code and database records, so you can bring the files you export from Atoms instead of starting over.
Annie researches your idea and market before building, then posts every day, follows up with interested customers, runs your CRM and answers customers around the clock. Payments go to a Stripe account in your business’s name, and DoAny’s Terms rule out a share of your sales on every plan, Free included; Stripe’s processing fees still apply. DoAny buys no ads, so nothing charges your card on its own.
Base44 builds apps and websites from a description, with a built-in database, sign-in and hosting on every plan, including Free. Its FAQ says there are no fees beyond the plan price; services you connect, such as Stripe, bill you directly. If you cancel, your apps stay live and your data stays in your workspace.
Watch out for: credits come in two pools, message credits for building and integration credits for what your app calls. The plan list shows GitHub integration from Builder, $40 a month billed yearly, not on Starter.
Price: Free $0 (25 message credits a month, up to 5 apps). Starter $16/mo billed yearly or $20 monthly, with 100 message credits and a domain you connect. Builder $40, Pro $80 and Elite $160 a month, billed yearly; yearly saves 20%.
Lovable builds apps from prompts on its own Cloud backend. Pro adds custom domains, on-demand credit top-ups, badge removal and user roles. Free needs no credit card and publishes up to 5 lovable.app addresses.
Watch out for: one credit balance pays for building, hosting, the backend and AI features in your app, per Lovable’s Lovable credits guide. At zero the published site keeps serving, but the built-in backend pauses and AI features stop until you add credits.
Price: Free $0. Pro $25/mo for 100 monthly credits, or $250 a year with yearly’s “2 months free.” Business $50/mo.
Emergent’s agents build web and mobile apps. Standard includes private project hosting, GitHub integration and extra credits for sale, and its Emergent plans guide lists custom domains on Standard and Pro.
Watch out for: Free lists no deployments, so a live app starts on Standard. Each deployed app uses 50 credits a month, out of Standard’s 100, so a live app halves what you have left for building.
Price: Free $0 with 10 credits a month. Standard $20/mo, or $17/mo billed yearly, for 100 credits a month. Pro $200/mo.
Rocket pairs building with research: every plan lists on-demand research and business intelligence next to building websites, web apps and mobile apps. Its credits carry over while your plan is active and expire if you cancel; you can buy more as needed, and there is no per-seat fee.
Watch out for: the database is your own Supabase project, connected by OAuth (Supabase guide), so a Supabase plan is a separate bill if you outgrow its free tier. Publishing first goes to a staging URL; the live launch connects a custom domain (launch guide), which needs Pro or above (domain guide).
Price: Free $0 with 20 credits. Pro $25/mo platform fee for 100 monthly credits, or 20% less billed yearly. The Rocket plan is $50/mo.

| A visual editor, Android builds and a Google Ads agent | Stay on Atoms | It is the only option here with all three. |
Reasons to stay
Atoms has a visual editor, a code editor and a Versions list where you choose “Restore to this version,” per its agents guide. DoAny is chat-only, with saved versions but no rollback button.
Since May 6, 2026, Atoms generates mobile app projects and produces Android build packages (changelog). Emergent is the closest alternative here; DoAny is web only.
Adrian plans and tunes Google Search campaigns in your own ad account, after two owner approvals, and creates them paused (ads guide). Pro shows GA4 reports inside Atoms (analytics guide). DoAny buys no ads by design.
Atoms Pro billed yearly is $189.60 for the year, the lowest paid price on this page. While your Cloud usage stays under about $11 a month after the $25 credit, it also costs less than DoAny Pro’s $300.
Switching
This applies whichever alternative you choose. Moving to DoAny specifically? The step-by-step order is in DoAny vs Atoms.
Swipe to compare every column.
| Asset | What Atoms documents | Do this before you cancel |
|---|---|---|
| Code | A ZIP download on Pro (Share guide). GitHub sync creates a new private repository in your personal account (GitHub guide). | Export while you are still on a paid plan. |
| Database | Export CSV, one table at a time, by the workspace owner; an active filter exports only matching rows (Database guide). | Clear filters, then export every table. |
| Your app’s users | The Users screen lists sign-ups; no export is documented (Users guide). | Plan for customers to sign up again or reset passwords. |
| Uploaded files | Once all credits are used, single-file downloads send you to Upgrade (App Storage guide). | Download files while you still have credits. |
| Domain | Connected domains and domains bought in the app; the guide covers moving a domain between Atoms projects (Domains guide). | Re-point DNS on switch day; ask Atoms Support about a domain you bought in the app. |
| Payments | The money lands in your own Stripe account (e-commerce FAQ); the connector gives Atoms’ agents access to it (security guide). | Disconnect Stripe under Settings, then Connectors, once you have moved. |
| Live app and Cloud balance | A paused app still bills; unpublishing takes it off the web (publish guide). Auto Top-up is a separate setting on Pro and Max (wallet guide). | Unpublish once the new site is live, and turn off Auto Top-up. |
| Plan | Cancelling moves you to Free at the end of the paid term, and unused paid credits expire (subscription guide). | Cancel before the next renewal; a yearly plan runs out its year. |
One more cost to watch on the way out: Atoms credited every account with $25 of Cloud balance in March 2026, and a migration that runs both apps side by side for a while spends it. Its Atoms Cloud guide adds that “Promotional amounts and eligibility can change,” so check your balance before you count on it.
Questions founders ask
It depends on why you’re leaving. For the separate hosting bill: DoAny, hosting included; Free costs $0 and can take real card payments. For the closest like-for-like with a yearly discount: Base44 Starter, $16 a month billed yearly. For top-ups on a $25 plan: Lovable Pro. For web and mobile apps: Emergent Standard, $20 a month. For research alongside building: Rocket Pro, $25 a month. Atoms’ visual editor, Android builds or Google Ads agent may be reasons to stay.
DoAny: hosting is included on every plan and uses no credits, so the site stays live at zero credits. Base44 says there are no fees beyond the plan price, though services you connect, such as Stripe, bill you directly. Lovable draws hosting from the same credits as building; at zero its backend pauses while the site keeps serving. Each live Emergent app uses 50 of Standard’s 100 monthly credits. Rocket’s database runs in your own Supabase project. Atoms bills hosting from a separate Cloud balance in dollars.
DoAny Free, Base44 Free and Lovable Free all cost $0; DoAny Free can also take real card payments, with 0% of sales and Stripe’s fees applying. On your own domain for a year, billed yearly: Atoms Pro ($189.60), Base44 Starter ($192) and Emergent Standard ($204) cost least; Rocket Pro is $240, Lovable Pro $250 and DoAny Pro $300. Billed monthly, Atoms Pro, Base44 Starter and Emergent Standard tie at $240 a year, before Atoms’ Cloud usage.
Yes, if you export while you’re on a paid plan. Atoms’ help center says “Export requires Pro”: you get a ZIP of the project, a GitHub repository in your personal account, and a CSV file for each database table. It documents no export of your app’s user accounts, so customers sign up again or reset passwords. Once all credits are used, single files in App Storage can’t be downloaded until you upgrade. DoAny imports existing code and database records, so you can hand Annie those files instead of starting over.
Emergent Standard builds web and mobile apps for $20 a month, or $17 billed yearly, and Rocket’s plans also list mobile apps. DoAny builds responsive web apps that customers can add to their home screen, with no native iPhone or Android apps. Atoms itself added mobile app projects with Android builds on May 6, 2026, so if that is what you use, compare carefully before you leave.
