Lovable alternatives: match the tool to why you’re leaving.

Lovable’s built-in payments need a paid plan, its hosting spends your credits past a 20-credit grant, and it can train on Free and Pro content unless each person opts out. DoAny sells on its $0 Free plan.

Stripe’s card fees apply on every option that takes payments through Stripe.

  • Totals use monthly billing, and “Lowest” is on that basis. Paid yearly, Lovable Pro is $250 a year, Replit Core $18 a month and Base44 Builder $40 a month. DoAny bills monthly only.
  • DoAny Free sites use the included yourname.doany.site address; a domain you own needs DoAny Pro, from $25 a month.
  • Bolt isn’t priced: its Stripe integration works on every plan, Free included, but needs a Stripe secret key you create and paste in. Lovable Free works the same way. Turn on “Count setups with a pasted key” to price both.
  • Replit’s Stripe integration is on Core and Pro only, not the free Starter plan; publishing comes out of Core’s monthly credits, Autoscale from $2 a month plus usage. Base44 offers Stripe on Builder and above.
  • v0 Free deploys to Vercel and adds Stripe from the Vercel Marketplace, but Vercel’s Hobby plan is for non-commercial, personal use only, so a site that sells needs Vercel Pro at $20 per seat a month, billed apart from v0. v0 Free includes $5 of monthly credits and 7 messages a day.
  • Stripe’s processing fees apply on every option here and are left out. Lovable Pro’s built-in payments can also use Paddle, at 5% + 50¢ a sale as merchant of record.
  • Plan prices only: credits, tokens and usage are billed differently on each tool, so they aren’t compared.

The documented reasons

Why founders look beyond Lovable

Lovable is a strong, widely used product. The reasons to shop around in 2026 are specific, and all of them are in Lovable’s own pricing, docs and changelog.

Sep 9

Since September 9, 2026, Lovable may train on Free and Pro content unless each person opts out. Business is excluded by default. Lovable training opt-out.

20 credits

The monthly Cloud grant, labeled temporary. Past it, hosting and backend usage come out of the credits you build with. Lovable credits docs.

$0.50

Per credit on Business ($50 for 100 credits), twice Pro’s rate, for the tier with SSO (Lovable pricing) and training off by default (Lovable training opt-out).

10 fixes

Free fixes per account since August 11, 2026. Each comes back 24 hours after use; past 10, a fix is billed like any message. Lovable changelog.

10 hours

How long one build message can run since August 26, 2026 (Lovable changelog). By default the run pauses for your go-ahead at every 20 credits, but that is “a notification threshold, not a hard cap”, and you can raise the level or turn it off (Lovable credits docs).

0 credits

At zero, built-in backend services pause shortly after, and their data can’t be accessed or exported until the services run again. Lovable credits docs.

Taking payments, plan by plan. Lovable’s built-in payments need Pro; on Free you paste your own Stripe API key instead (Lovable’s Stripe integration). On each alternative:

  • DoAny’s checkout works on Free, with no API keys to copy.
  • Bolt’s Stripe integration works on any plan, Free included, with a Stripe secret key you paste in, on any project with a Bolt or Supabase database (Bolt Stripe); Free lists “Unlimited databases” (Bolt pricing). Free sites carry a Made in Bolt badge and stop serving once they reach Free’s hard traffic limit, 10 GB of bandwidth and 333,333 requests a month, until the next cycle (Bolt hosting).
  • Replit’s Stripe integration is on Core and Pro only (Replit Stripe).
  • Base44 offers Stripe on Builder, $50 a month, and above (Base44 payments).
  • v0 adds Stripe from the Vercel Marketplace (v0 integrations), which sets the keys for you (Vercel’s Stripe integration), but a site that sells needs a paid Vercel plan, since Hobby is non-commercial.

One by one

Each Lovable alternative: best for, catch and price

Same three questions for each, DoAny included: what it’s for, the catch, and the price.

  1. Company builder · our product

DoAny: best for non-technical founders who want the business run

Best for: a live business rather than an app to maintain. DoAny researches your idea and market first, builds a real web app with customer accounts, a database and Stripe checkout, and hosts it on its own yourname.doany.site address. After launch, Annie posts every day, finds customers and follows up, runs your CRM and answers customers around the clock. Payments go to your own Stripe account and DoAny takes 0% of your sales; Stripe’s own processing fees still apply. Its DoAny Terms rule out equity and revenue share.

Against Lovable: the same $25 for 100 credits plus 5 a day, but hosting uses no credits and the backend stays up at zero. Credits stop hard, with “no overage, no automatic recharge” (Run it solo). DoAny doesn’t train AI models on your data, and you can export code and data or sync to GitHub. DoAny’s Free plan can sell; Lovable’s built-in payments need a paid plan (Lovable payments). Bring your exported Lovable code and database records; DoAny imports them.

Watch out for: editing is by chat only, with no visual editor. No SSO and no connector marketplace; Annie connects other services by writing a backend function with your API key. The checkout on the sites DoAny builds is Stripe only at the moment, with no merchant of record, no sales-tax handling and no coupons or free trials. Those sites can’t connect an existing Stripe account yet. There’s no one-click rollback, though every version is saved. No yearly plan or credit rollover. Web only, with no native iOS or Android apps.

Price: Free has unlimited companies sharing 5 credits a day, up to 30 a month, with no card, and can go live and take real card payments with 0% of sales (Stripe’s fees still apply). Pro starts at $25 a month for 100 credits plus 5 daily, shared by every company, and adds unlimited team members, custom domains and top-ups at $15 per 50 (DoAny pricing). For the full side-by-side comparison, read DoAny vs Lovable.

  2. Code-first builder

Bolt: best for an existing JavaScript repo or a mobile app

Best for: bringing code you already have. Bolt imports an existing GitHub repository by URL, which Lovable cannot do (Bolt GitHub), and turns projects into mobile apps with Expo (Bolt supported technologies).

    Watch out for:

    • Backends must be JavaScript; Bolt says PHP and Python aren’t compatible (Bolt supported technologies).
    • On a simultaneous edit, Bolt “keeps your changes and overwrites the GitHub version”, branches are merged in GitHub, and a disconnected project can’t be reconnected manually; relinking it to the same repo goes through support (Bolt GitHub).
    • Starting October 7, 2026, unless you opt out, StackBlitz, which makes Bolt, may use your prompts, code and outputs to train AI models and license de-identified datasets to third parties. The opt-out doesn’t cover Bolt Forge: turning Forge on is consent to that use (StackBlitz privacy policy), and Pro includes Forge until October 14 (Bolt pricing).

Price: Free gives 300K tokens a day and 1M a month. Pro is $25 a month starting at 10M tokens, with no daily limit and rollover of unused tokens; Teams is $30 per member (Bolt pricing). Token use grows with project size, because Bolt reads your files on each message (Bolt tokens).

  3. Developer workspace

Replit: best for any language and firm spending limits

Best for: a full development workspace. Replit says it “supports all programming languages through integration with Nix” (Replit docs), offers budget limits it describes as hard caps (Replit AI billing), and has a documented Lovable import through GitHub.

Watch out for: that import leaves existing Supabase records and secrets behind (Replit import guide). Agent work is priced by effort, and publishing costs come out of your monthly credits: Autoscale from $2 a month plus usage, Reserved VMs from $15 a month, static sites free apart from data transfer (Replit publishing costs).

Price: Core is $20 a month, or $18 billed yearly. Pro is $100 a month, or $90 yearly (Replit pricing).

  4. All-in-one app builder

Base44: best for an all-in-one builder with scheduled agents

Best for: building and automating in one place. Base44 is part of Wix, and every plan includes a backend, database, sign-in and a visual editor (Base44 pricing). Superagents run scheduled workflows or react to activity in connected tools (Base44 Superagents).

Watch out for: two-way GitHub sync needs Builder or higher and syncs only the main branch (Base44 GitHub integration). Unused monthly credits expire, and when integration credits run out, app actions that need them fail with an error your users see (Base44 credits). Superagents spend message credits, the same pool you build with. Data on every plan except Enterprise can be used to train AI models, with no opt-out setting (Base44 privacy and security).

Price: Free gives 25 message credits a month. Starter is $20 a month ($16 yearly) for 100 message credits; Builder is $50 ($40 yearly) for 250 (Base44 pricing).

  5. React on Vercel

v0: best for React apps you deploy on Vercel

Best for: teams already on Vercel. Even the free plan deploys to Vercel, syncs with GitHub and includes Design Mode for visual edits (v0 pricing).

Watch out for: pricing is per user, and usage is billed in dollars of model tokens at rates that vary by model. Training opt-out is the default only from Business, at $100 per user a month (v0 pricing).

Price: Free includes $5 of monthly credits and 7 messages a day. Plus is $30 per user a month with $30 of credits each, shown discounted from $90 on September 25, 2026 (v0 pricing).

Whichever you pick, check who can see the project

Lovable’s April 22, 2026 post-mortem says that from February 3 to April 20, 2026, chat history and source code of public projects could be viewed by any logged-in Lovable user with a project link. Private projects and Lovable Cloud were not affected. Lovable shipped a fix within two hours of the public report (Lovable’s incident response), and since April 22 it no longer offers public projects at all (Lovable project visibility).

The lesson applies to any builder: check who can open the editor and chat history, not only the live site.

The honest option

When staying with Lovable is the right call

Lovable is the scale player here: $500 million in annualized revenue by June 2026 and 60 million hosted projects, per TechCrunch. It syncs code two ways with three Git providers, lists a large Lovable connector catalog, lets you edit text on the preview, offers SSO on Business, bills Pro yearly at $250 (Lovable plans), and rolls unused credits over for a month. If those are what you use, a move costs you more than it gains.

If the training default is your only concern, the fix is one toggle per person: Account settings, AI model training, then turn off “Use my Lovable content for model training”. It applies going forward. If price is the concern, note that DoAny’s Pro ladder matches Lovable Pro tier for tier, from $25 to $2,250 a month, and DoAny’s Free plan can already take real payments. The difference is what the credits have to cover, which the DoAny vs Lovable comparison prices out line by line.

Questions

Lovable alternatives FAQ

What is the best Lovable alternative?

For a non-technical founder who wants the business built and run after launch, DoAny, which publishes this page. For an existing JavaScript repo or an Expo mobile app, Bolt. For another programming language, hosting choices or a hard budget cap, Replit. For an all-in-one builder with scheduled agents, Base44. For React apps deployed on Vercel, v0.

Which Lovable alternative is cheapest?

By entry paid plan, Replit Core and Base44 Starter at $20 a month ($18 and $16 billed yearly). DoAny, Bolt and Lovable Pro start at $25, and v0 Plus at $30 per user. DoAny’s hosting uses no credits; Replit and Lovable bill hosting from theirs. For built-in payments, DoAny starts at $0: its Free plan can go live and take real card payments with 0% of sales (Stripe’s fees apply), while Lovable’s built-in payments need a paid plan.

Which alternatives keep my content out of AI training?

DoAny doesn’t train AI models on your data. Lovable excludes Business and Enterprise by default; on Free and Pro each person opts out. v0 defaults to opt-out from Business at $100 per user. From October 7, 2026, Bolt may train on your content unless you opt out. Base44 allows training on every plan except Enterprise, with no opt-out. Replit’s Pro Agreement allows training unless you opt out in settings; Enterprise rules it out, and Core’s privacy policy describes no opt-out.

Can I move a Lovable app without rebuilding it?

Mostly. The code leaves through Git sync or a zip download, and the Cloud database exports as a file of up to 5 GB. DoAny imports your exported code and database records, so you don’t start over; Bolt and Replit can import the code from GitHub, but Replit’s Lovable import leaves existing Supabase records behind. Storage files, Edge Function code, secrets and sign-in settings move separately, and in DoAny, Go live opens a new Stripe account, so existing subscriptions stay where they are until you move them.

Should I just stay with Lovable?

Stay if you rely on its strengths: two-way Git sync with GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket Cloud, a large connector catalog, SSO on Business, editing on the preview, yearly billing and credit rollover. If the training default is your only concern, the opt-out is free and takes one toggle per person. Switch for a concrete reason, such as hosting paid from your build credits, a stack Lovable does not support, or wanting the growth work done for you.
