DoAny is priced as Pro: Free includes 1 team member.

For 5 people on yearly billing where offered, Taskade Pro costs the least: $120 over 12 months. DoAny Pro costs $300 for the whole team, and the difference pays for the work after launch: Annie posts every day, follows up with leads and answers customers around the clock.

  • Rank 4: DoAny Pro$300$25 a month, any team size
  • Rank 6: Notion Business$1,200$20 per member a month
  • Rank 5: ClickUp Unlimited$420$7 per user a month
  • Rank 6: Airtable Team$1,200$20 per seat a month
  • Rank 2: Base44 Starter$192$16 a month, any team size
  • Rank 3: Lovable Pro$250$250 a year, unlimited users
  • Not priced: n8n StarterBilled in euros€20 a month billed yearly, automations only
  • Rank 1: Taskade ProLowest$120$120 a year, 10 users included
  • DoAny Free includes 1 team member, so the DoAny column uses Pro, from $25 a month. Working alone, DoAny Free costs $0 and can take real payments.
  • At these numbers Taskade Pro costs $180 less than DoAny Pro over 12 months. Like Base44 Starter, Lovable Pro and Taskade Pro, DoAny doesn’t charge per person; Notion, ClickUp and Airtable do, so their totals grow with the team.
  • On DoAny Pro, Base44 Starter and Lovable Pro, the whole team shares one credit balance. Base44 Starter’s is 100 message credits a month, so a larger team may need a bigger plan; on Lovable, hosting and the backend draw on the same credits.
  • Taskade Pro includes 10 users, so up to 10 people pay the same $120. Taskade needs Business, with unlimited users, from 11 people, or for your own domain at any team size: $300 a year billed yearly, $600 billed monthly.
  • Totals use each tool’s yearly price where it has one, as in the team table below. Yearly prices are charged a year up front; Taskade’s terms add that there is no refund for unused months. Billed monthly, 5 people pay $1,440 on Notion, $600 on ClickUp, $1,440 on Airtable, $240 on Base44, $300 on Lovable and $240 on Taskade over 12 months, and n8n Starter is €24 a month. DoAny bills monthly only.
  • ClickUp’s Brain AI costs extra: $9 per user a month billed yearly ($14 monthly), $540 for 5 people over 12 months. Notion is priced on Business, its first plan with Custom Agents, which are free to try and then run on credits at $10 per 1,000.
  • Plan prices only, and plans include different things: read these as the cost of entry, not of equal output. Credits are different units on every product, so credit packs and DoAny top-ups aren’t included. n8n bills in euros, so it has no dollar total.

How we calculated this
  1. DoAny Pro: $25 × 12 = $300, billed monthly, for any team size.
  2. Notion Business: 5 × $20 × 12 = $1,200, billed yearly.
  3. ClickUp Unlimited: 5 × $7 × 12 = $420, billed yearly.
  4. Airtable Team: 5 × $20 × 12 = $1,200, billed yearly.
  5. Base44 Starter: $16 × 12 = $192, billed yearly, with any number of members.
  6. Lovable Pro: $250 a year, billed yearly, with unlimited users.
  7. n8n Starter: €20 × 12 = €240, billed yearly in euros, for 2,500 executions a month, automations only, so it has no dollar total.
  8. Taskade Pro: $10 × 12 = $120, charged a year up front, with 10 users included.

The documented reasons

Why people look beyond Taskade

For a team, Taskade is good value. These are the reasons people shop around anyway, from Taskade’s own pricing page, terms and guides, plus what Trustpilot reviewers said in 2025 and 2026.

$20

Taskade Pro per month billed monthly, or $10 billed yearly. It includes 10 users and 50,000 credits a month.

$50

Business per month billed monthly, or $25 billed yearly: the cheapest Taskade plan that puts an app on your own domain.

6,000

Free-plan credits, given once. Paid plans renew their credits every month.

Prices and plans moved in 2026

Taskade’s Billing and Pricing FAQ, dated March 18, 2026, still lists Starter at $8 a month, Pro at $20 ($16 yearly), Business at $50 ($40 yearly), 3,000 free credits and discounts for students and startups. The live pricing page has no Starter, prices Pro at $10 and Business at $25 billed yearly, and gives 6,000 one-time credits. The terms let Taskade change plan prices from your next billing cycle after notice, and say credit allocations and consumption rates “may change as models and features evolve”, with no notice period stated.

Your own domain needs Business

Every paid plan removes the “Powered by Taskade” badge, but only Business, Max and Enterprise publish on a domain you own. That is $25 a month billed yearly or $50 billed monthly.

Automations are unlimited, runs are not

Pro lists unlimited AI automations and allows 1,000 automation runs per seat a month; Free allows 10. Taskade doesn’t publish whether a chain of automations counts as one run or several.

Leaving means rebuilding

A .tsk export needs Pro and imports into a Taskade workspace. Connected credentials, custom-domain DNS records and App Users don’t transfer, even between Taskade workspaces. Project data exports as CSV or JSON, but the app itself has to be rebuilt.

Client portals need a filter you set up

Taskade’s sign-in confirms who a visitor is but doesn’t hide other clients’ records by default. Row matching is opt-in and off until you configure and test it, and sign-in and App Users are both in beta.

The outside signal is mostly positive with one sore spot. On September 25, 2026, Taskade’s Trustpilot page showed 776 reviews, 79% of them five-star and 4% one-star, and flagged that Taskade hasn’t replied to negative reviews. The one-star reviews cluster on billing: lifetime-deal owners writing in March, April and July 2026 say “Unlimited AI” was replaced by paid credits, and 2025 reviewers say yearly renewals were not refunded. Trustpilot notes that Taskade hasn’t invited reviewers recently, so the reviews may not be representative.

One by one

Each Taskade alternative: best for, catch and price

DoAny comes first and gets the same three-part format as the rest; the others follow by the part of Taskade they replace.

  1. The whole business

DoAny: for a founder who wants the business built and run

Best for: non-technical founders with a business idea rather than a team process to put in software.

    • Annie researches the idea and your market first, builds a real web app with customer accounts, a database and checkout, and hosts it; hosting uses no credits. After launch she posts every day, finds customers and follows up, runs your CRM and answers customers around the clock. Our selling online chapter walks through the first sale.
    • Unlike a .tsk bundle, what DoAny builds can leave with you: you can export your code and data and walk away anytime, and your code can sync to GitHub. Moving in works too: DoAny imports your existing code and database records, so switching doesn’t mean starting from scratch.
    • Payments go straight into your own Stripe account and DoAny takes 0%; DoAny’s Terms rule out equity and revenue share. Stripe’s processing fees still apply.

Watch out for: it is not a team workspace. There’s no SSO, no drag-and-drop editor (you edit by chat), no connector marketplace and no native mobile app. The checkout on the sites DoAny builds is Stripe only at the moment, with no coupons or free trials and no sales tax or VAT handling.

Price: Free is $0 with no card: unlimited companies sharing 5 credits a day, for one team member, and you can take real card payments on the Free plan. Pro is $25 a month for 100 monthly credits plus 5 a day, shared by every company; top-ups cost $15 per 50 credits, and connecting a domain you own is part of Pro.

  2. Team docs and agents

Notion: for agents that work across your team’s docs

Best for: teams whose documents, wikis and project databases already live in Notion (Notion’s site). Custom Agents work on the pages and databases you grant them, on a schedule, when a database changes, or from Slack. Notion Business also adds SAML SSO (company single sign-on) and granular database permissions.

Watch out for: Custom Agents need Business or Enterprise and run on Notion credits; when the workspace runs out, Custom Agents pause until credits reset or an admin adds more, and premium models pause too. An agent answers with the agent’s own access, not the asker’s, and Notion warns it may expose information a user can’t open directly. A custom domain for a Notion site is a separate pay-per-domain add-on.

Price: Free: $0. Plus: $10 per member a month billed yearly, $12 monthly. Business: $20 per member a month billed yearly, $24 monthly. Custom Agents are free to try, then $10 per 1,000 monthly Notion credits.

  3. Tasks and projects

ClickUp: for task and project management at a per-user price

Best for: teams who mainly used Taskade for tasks, projects and docs (ClickUp’s site). Unlimited adds unlimited Gantt charts, integrations such as Slack, HubSpot and Google Drive, and guests with permission control. Business adds 5,000 automations a month, mind maps and Google SSO.

Watch out for: AI is priced on top: Brain AI costs $9 per user a month billed yearly, $14 monthly. Per-user pricing grows with the team, so five people on Unlimited cost $420 a year before AI and $960 with Brain AI. ClickUp replaces the workspace, not a Taskade app your clients sign in to; that part needs another tool.

Price: Free Forever: $0. Unlimited: $7 per user a month billed yearly, $10 monthly. Business: $12 per user a month billed yearly, $19 monthly.

  4. Data and client portals

Airtable: for business data with interfaces and client portals

Best for: operations teams whose Taskade app was really a database with views (Airtable’s site). Team includes 50,000 records per base, 25,000 automation runs a month and Gantt and timeline views, every plan includes the Interface Designer, and a Portals add-on lets outside guests in.

Watch out for: client access costs extra: Portals start at $120 a month for 15 guests on Team and $150 on Business. Seats are priced per person, so five editors on Team cost $1,200 a year billed yearly. Free stops at 1,000 records per base and 100 automation runs.

Price: Free: $0 for up to 5 editors. Team: $20 per seat a month billed yearly, $24 monthly. Business: $45 per seat a month billed yearly, $54 monthly.

  5. Prompt-built apps

Base44: for a prompt-built app on your own domain

Best for: founders who liked building an app from a prompt and want it on their own domain from the cheapest paid plan (Base44’s site). Every plan includes an integrated backend and database, authentication, a responsive visual editor and an analytics dashboard, and Base44’s FAQ says two-way GitHub sync exports the full source code.

Watch out for: two-way GitHub sync needs Builder or higher, and once GitHub is connected you can’t use Version History to return to versions from before the connection. Credits come in two kinds: 100 message credits and 2,000 integration credits a month on Starter. Marketing and customer work stay with you.

Price: Free: $0 with 25 message credits a month and up to 5 apps. Starter: $16 a month billed yearly, $20 monthly, with a domain connection. Builder: $40 a month billed yearly, $50 monthly. Plans aren’t priced per person: you can invite as many members as you want on every plan, and they share the workspace’s credits.

  6. Apps with code you keep

Lovable: for an app whose code lives in your GitHub

Best for: founders or teams who want the app’s code in their own GitHub repository from day one (Lovable’s site). Changes sync both ways between Lovable and GitHub on every plan, though Lovable only exports to GitHub; it can’t import an existing repository.

Watch out for: one credit balance pays for building, chat, hosting, the built-in backend and AI features in your app. If credits run out, published pages stay up but backend services such as the database, storage and sign-in can pause. Our DoAny vs Lovable page covers that trade-off in detail.

Price: Free: $0. Pro: $21 a month billed yearly, $25 monthly, with 100 monthly credits, custom domains and unlimited users. Business: $42 a month billed yearly, $50 monthly, adding SSO.

  7. Automations

n8n: for automations you want more control over

Best for: teams who mainly used Taskade’s automations and want more control (n8n’s site). n8n charges per workflow execution however many steps it has, and every plan includes unlimited users and every integration. A self-hosted Community Edition is available on GitHub.

Watch out for: it replaces the automation layer only, so your workspace and any customer-facing app need another home. Cloud plans cap executions: 2,500 a month on Starter. If you self-host, upgrades, backups and monitoring become your job.

Price: Starter: €20 a month billed yearly, €24 monthly, for 2,500 executions. Pro: €50 a month billed yearly, €60 monthly, for 10,000. The Community Edition is free to self-host.

Stay on Taskade Pro if up to 10 people share one AI workspace: it is the cheapest way to do that here. For one founder, the prices sort like this:

  • Your own domain, cheapest: Base44 Starter, $192 a year billed yearly.
  • Your own domain, with the work after launch done: DoAny Pro, $300 a year month to month. Annie posts every day, follows up with leads, runs your CRM and answers customers; hosting doesn’t use credits, and checkout pays into your own Stripe account with 0% taken (Stripe’s fees apply).
  • No domain of your own: DoAny Free takes real card payments for $0 a year, while Taskade’s Stripe needs a paid plan: Pro at $10 × 12 = $120 up front, or $20 × 12 = $240 billed monthly.

Reasons to stay

When staying on Taskade is the right call

Switching costs a rebuild. Taskade remains the better choice if most of these describe you.

If you stay, check your renewal date

Put your yearly renewal in your calendar a week early. Charges are final once they go through. The DoAny vs Taskade fine print covers portal filters and model routing.

Moving out

Leaving Taskade without losing data

No tool can run a Taskade app as it is, so every move is a rebuild. Keep Taskade running until the new setup works, and use this table to see what comes with you and what doesn’t.

Questions founders ask

Taskade alternatives FAQ

What is the best Taskade alternative?

Pick by the part of Taskade you use most. For team tasks, ClickUp, from $7 per user a month billed yearly. For agents across team docs, Notion Business at $20 per member a month billed yearly. For client portals on shared data, Airtable with its Portals add-on. For an app a developer can take over, Lovable or Base44. For automations only, n8n. For a non-technical founder starting a business, DoAny, which we make.

Is there a free Taskade alternative?

Several have free plans: DoAny (5 credits a day, up to 30 a month, no card, and you can take real card payments on it), Lovable, Base44 (25 message credits a month and up to 5 apps), ClickUp Free Forever, Notion Free and Airtable Free (up to 5 editors). n8n’s Community Edition is free to self-host. Taskade’s own Free plan gives 6,000 credits once; they do not renew, and its Stripe payments need a paid plan.

Which Taskade alternatives let me take my app’s code with me?

Three of the app builders here. Lovable syncs code both ways with your GitHub on every plan, Free included. Base44 has two-way GitHub sync from its Builder plan, $40 a month billed yearly. DoAny lets you export your code and data anytime and sync your code to GitHub. Taskade’s .tsk export restores only into a Taskade workspace, so leaving means a rebuild.

Which alternative is cheapest for my own domain?

Of the app builders here, Base44 Starter connects a domain for $16 a month billed yearly ($20 monthly). Lovable Pro includes custom domains at about $21 a month billed yearly ($250 a year; $25 monthly). DoAny Pro connects a domain you already own at $25 a month, billed monthly only. Taskade needs Business: $25 a month billed yearly ($300 up front) or $50 monthly.

Why do Taskade’s help pages show different prices?

Taskade repriced in 2026. Its help center Billing and Pricing FAQ, dated March 18, 2026, still lists a Starter plan at $8 a month ($6 billed yearly), Pro at $20 ($16 yearly) and Business at $50 ($40 yearly), and 3,000 free credits. The live pricing page, checked September 25, 2026, drops Starter, prices Pro at $10 and Business at $25 a month billed yearly, and gives 6,000 one-time credits. Go by the live pricing page and your checkout screen.

Which Taskade alternative does the marketing and selling for me?

DoAny, which is built for that job. After launch, Annie posts every day, finds customers and follows up, runs your CRM and answers customers around the clock, while turning on payments, paid video renders and new recurring tasks wait for your approval on a card. The other six give you tools, agents or automations; deciding what marketing and customer work gets done, and setting it up, stays with you.

Describe the company to Annie and start free: 5 credits a day, no card. She researches the idea first, builds the first version and puts it live the same day, and you can test checkout with Stripe test cards before you give Stripe anything. When you’re ready, go live and take real card payments on the same Free plan.
