Open doany.ai/tools/pressure-washing-pricing-calculator and price a job with a 900 sq ft concrete driveway my two-person crew cleans at 750 sq ft an hour using $1.25 of chemicals per 100 sq ft and a 1,400 sq ft vinyl house wash at 600 sq ft an hour with $2.80 per 100 sq ft, 1.5 hours of setup, $30 an hour labor, $45 equipment and fuel, $20 vehicle, $35 overhead, a 40% margin and a $275 minimum, and tell me how it compares with the $0.30 per sq ft I charge now.

Build a job price with the pressure washing pricing calculator
Enter what you measured on site and what your own jobs cost. The pressure washing pricing calculator turns crew time, chemicals and the fixed costs of a visit into one job price, then splits that price across the surfaces.
Measure each surface and time your crew
Add each surface to the pressure washing pricing calculator with its area and the square feet your whole crew cleans in an hour on it. Time your own jobs: siding, a flat driveway and a stained patio rarely clean at the same rate.
Add crew, chemicals and fixed costs
Enter setup and cleanup time, crew size and the loaded cost of each worker-hour. Add the mixed chemical cost per 100 sq ft at your dilution, then equipment and fuel, vehicle and overhead for one job.
Set your margin and minimum
Choose a target margin and a minimum job charge. The pressure washing pricing calculator rounds the target price up to the next cent and uses your minimum whenever it is higher. One button then opens a pressure washing estimate with that price.
Three jobs, three cost patterns
The same formula covers very different visits. What drives the price depends on the surfaces you enter in the pressure washing pricing calculator.
House wash with a driveway
What to change
Enter the siding and the driveway as separate surfaces in the pressure washing pricing calculator. Siding washed with a mixed solution and flatwork cleaned with a surface cleaner can have different rates and chemical costs; use your own records for each.
Before you use it
Add time for ladders, plant protection or hard-to-reach walls to setup if your rates do not already include it.
A walkway-only visit
What to change
Enter one small surface. Setup, the trip and fixed costs make up most of the cost, so the target price can fall below your minimum job charge.
Before you use it
When the minimum sets the price, the pressure washing pricing calculator says so. Confirm the minimum still covers a full visit.
Large commercial flatwork
What to change
Enter the measured area and the rate your full crew reaches on it. If you add people, raise each rate to what the larger crew cleans; crew size alone adds labor cost without shortening the job.
Before you use it
Confirm access hours, water supply and how wash water must be handled at that site. The pressure washing pricing calculator does not check site rules.
Before you quote the price
- Areas are measured on site or from a plan, not guessed from the size of the house.
- Production rates come from your own timed jobs on similar surfaces.
- Chemical cost uses your purchase price and the dilution on the product label.
- Labor cost includes payroll taxes and other costs for every paid hour.
- The target margin and minimum job charge are your own choices, not market figures.
Time on site drives labor
In the pressure washing pricing calculator, each surface’s area ÷ production rate gives its crew-hours; setup and cleanup are added once. Labor = time on site × crew size × loaded cost per worker-hour. With the starting numbers, 3.99 hours for two people at $32 is $255.36.
The margin sets a target, the minimum sets a floor
Target price = total cost ÷ (1 − target margin), rounded up to the cent. $410.16 ÷ 0.65 = $631.0153…, so the target rounds up to $631.02. The job price is the higher of that target and your minimum job charge.
Surface prices add up to the job price
Each surface carries its own chemicals. The pressure washing pricing calculator splits the rest of the job price, including labor, setup, equipment, vehicle, overhead and margin, by crew-hours. Leftover cents go to the largest remainders, so the surface prices always total the job price exactly.

Questions about this tool
How do I price a pressure washing job?
Measure each surface, work out crew time from your own production rates, add chemicals and the fixed costs of one visit, then price for your target margin. The pressure washing pricing calculator does each step and compares the result with your minimum job charge.
Should I charge per square foot or per job?
Either can work. A job price covers setup and fixed costs on every visit; a price per square foot helps you compare jobs. The pressure washing pricing calculator prices the whole job, then shows its price per square foot, which runs higher on small jobs because fixed costs are spread over less area. If you already charge by the square foot, enter that rate as your current price. The result shows the job at your rate, how far it is above or below the calculated price, what it leaves after costs and whether it meets your minimum job charge.
What production rate should I use for each surface?
Use your own. Time your crew on similar jobs and divide the area cleaned by the clock hours the crew spent washing it, not by each person’s hours added together. Concrete, siding, wood and roofs can clean at very different rates with different equipment. The starting rates in the pressure washing pricing calculator are editable assumptions, not industry figures.
How do I work out chemical cost per 100 square feet?
Divide what one container costs by the square feet it covers once mixed at your dilution, then multiply by 100. Mix as the label directs. OSHA says employers with hazardous chemicals must have labels and safety data sheets for exposed workers and train them to handle the chemicals.
What should my minimum job charge cover?
At least the cost of showing up: setup and cleanup, the trip, equipment and fuel, vehicle and overhead for one visit, plus the margin you want. When the target price falls below your minimum, the pressure washing pricing calculator uses the minimum and says so.
Where do setup time and travel go?
The pressure washing pricing calculator adds setup and cleanup hours to time on site and pays them for every crew member. Drive time between jobs during the workday generally counts as paid work time for employees, so add the drive from the previous job to setup and cleanup, or add its labor cost to overhead if you spread travel across jobs; check the rules that apply to your crew. Vehicle running cost goes in the vehicle field. The IRS business standard mileage rate is 76 cents per mile from July 1 to December 31, 2026. It is a deduction rate, not your vehicle’s actual cost.
How do I allow for a second story, heavy staining or a fence?
Enter each as its own surface, with the production rate your crew reaches on similar work and a higher chemical cost if you use a stronger mix. For a fence, enter length × height for each side you wash as its area. The pressure washing pricing calculator has no built-in story or condition factor, so your own timed rates carry the difference.
What target margin should I use?
The pressure washing pricing calculator has no built-in recommendation. Choose a margin that covers owner pay, slow weeks and risk in your business, then compare the price with what customers accept. Margin divides by price: a 35% margin on $410.16 of costs needs $631.02, while a 35% markup gives only $553.72.
