  • Rocket’s total leaves out its backend: your Supabase project is $0 on the free tier, or from $25 a month on Pro ($300 over 12 months). The DoAny vs Rocket.new calculator adds it.
  • Only plan prices are added up, not any cut of your sales: DoAny takes 0%, as does Rocket, which runs payments on your own Stripe keys. Card processing fees are left out. On DoAny, Lovable Free and Rocket they are Stripe’s own fees, paid by you.
  • The running costs row lists what each adds as you use it. A credit buys different work on each, so credits aren’t compared across products or added to the totals. DoAny Free’s $0 holds as long as 5 credits a day, up to 30 a month, covers your work; Pro, from $25 a month, adds 100 monthly credits.
  • Keeping one app deployed uses 50 of Emergent Standard’s 100 monthly credits, half its allowance. Buy those back each month at Emergent’s own price and Emergent Standard comes to $324 a year billed yearly, as DoAny vs Emergent works out.
  • Totals use yearly billing where offered, and “Lowest” is on that basis. Billed monthly, Emergent Standard is $240, Replit Core $240 and Rocket Pro $300 for 12 months. DoAny bills monthly only.

How we calculated this

The documented reasons

Why people look beyond Rocket.new

Each of these comes from Rocket’s own pricing page, docs or Terms.

You run the backend

A Rocket app’s data lives in Supabase, the hosted database and login service Rocket apps run on, in a project you connect and own; payments run on Stripe keys you paste in, and Supabase Pro costs from $25 a month once you outgrow its free tier.

An iPhone release needs a Mac

The App Store route is a paid code download, then Xcode on a Mac (Apple’s Mac-only build tool) and a $99-a-year Apple account, and Rocket’s Rocket FAQ says IPA download, the app file the App Store accepts, is “coming soon”.

Credits vanish when you cancel

All unused subscription and purchased credits expire at the end of the billing cycle, though every pricing card says “Credits never expire”.

Links that move under you

Rocket is moving apps off builtwithrocket.new. The old link stops working in about 7 days, and relaunching gives you a new link to share again.

On Rocket’s Trustpilot page (checked September 25, 2026), a common complaint in low-star reviews is credits running out fast, while many reviewers praise fast support. Self-selected reviews, not our test results. Rocket’s own wording on credits, free projects, Intelligence and old links is quoted in the DoAny vs Rocket.new fine print.

What DoAny charges to keep your site, database, files and functions online. Hosting never uses credits, so the site stays up at zero, and nothing recharges automatically.

You don’t need a paid plan to sell on DoAny. On Free you press Go live, complete Stripe’s verification and take real card payments, with 0% of your sales (Stripe’s fees apply): 12 × $0 = $0 a year, if 30 credits a month covers your work. Pro, 12 × $25 = $300, is for your own domain or more credits. Among the others:

One by one

Each Rocket.new alternative in detail

DoAny is listed first because it is ours, and it gets the same format as the rest: who it suits, what to watch out for, the exact price and how you’d move from Rocket.

  1. Our product · company builder

DoAny: for a web business, not just an app

Best for: non-technical founders who want a working web business, not just an app.

    • Researches your idea and market first
    • Accounts, data and Stripe checkout built in; no Supabase project or API keys
    • Hosting included and never metered in credits
    • After launch, Annie posts every day, follows up with leads, runs your CRM and answers customers around the clock
    • DoAny takes 0% of your sales: payments are direct charges on your own Stripe account, and DoAny’s DoAny Terms rule out a revenue share (Stripe’s fees still apply)
    • Turning on payments, connecting outside accounts and new recurring jobs wait for your approval
    • DoAny does not train AI models on your data, on any plan

Watch out for: web only, no native apps. The checkout on the sites DoAny builds is Stripe only at the moment, with no coupons or free trials. Those sites can’t connect an existing Stripe account yet. No visual editor and no one-click rollback. Monthly credits don’t roll over and there is no annual plan.

Price: Free is $0 with no card: 5 credits a day, up to 30 a month, shared by unlimited companies with no per-company fee, and it can go live and take real card payments. Pro starts at $25 a month for 100 monthly credits plus 5 a day, with unlimited team members and no per-seat fee, and adds custom domains. Top-ups (Pro only) cost $15 per 50 credits and last 12 months.

Moving from Rocket: bring the code you download from Rocket and the Supabase tables you export; DoAny imports them, so you don’t start over. Customer logins don’t move across by themselves, and Go live opens a new Stripe Express account for your business, because the sites DoAny builds can’t connect an existing one yet. The DoAny vs Rocket.new page has the side-by-side, a 12-month cost example and the switching steps, and the guide to building without code shows the product side.

  2. Web apps, backend included

Lovable: for a web app without running Supabase

Best for: founders who want Rocket’s kind of app builder without the separate backend. Lovable Cloud gives a database, sign-in, storage and functions “without needing to set up Supabase separately”. Pro adds custom domains, and GitHub sync runs both ways.

    Watch out for:

    • Cloud hosting draws on your credits after a monthly grant of 20. At zero credits the published site stays up, but its Cloud backend (database, sign-in, storage) pauses, and you can’t export the data until you add credits.
    • Since September 9, 2026, Lovable may use Free and Pro content, including code and project files, to train its models unless each member turns off “Use my Lovable content for model training”; the opt-out applies only going forward, and Business ($50) excludes workspace data by default.
    • You can “only export from Lovable to GitHub”, so it won’t import your Rocket repository.

Price: Free with 5 build credits a day (up to 30 a month). Pro is $25 a month for 100 credits plus 5 a day, or $250 a year, and unused credits roll over for 1 month on monthly plans.

Moving from Rocket: rebuild from a description of the product. The Lovable alternatives page covers it in depth.

  3. Phone apps, cloud builds

Emergent: for iPhone and Android without a Mac

Best for: iOS and Android apps built with Expo, the toolkit for iPhone and Android apps. Store builds run on Expo’s cloud service, with “no Xcode or Android Studio needed”.

    Watch out for:

    • The Mobile Agent isn’t on the Free plan, and Emergent’s Emergent Terms limit Free to personal, non-commercial use.
    • To ship, you download the code and run the build and submit commands yourself, and a store listing still needs Apple’s $99-a-year developer account and Google Play’s $25 one-time fee.
    • Each deployed app uses 50 credits a month, half of Standard’s allowance (Emergent’s plans guide and Emergent FAQ say monthly; its platform documentation calls it one-time).
    • Section 6.2 of the Terms says “By default, we may use your Content, including your code” to train AI models; you can opt out for future use, though the FAQ says code is not used for AI training.

Price: Free with 10 credits a month and no Mobile Agent. Standard is $20 a month, or $17 billed yearly, for 100 credits; Pro is $200 for 750 (Emergent pricing).

Moving from Rocket: Emergent builds with Expo, not Flutter, so plan to rebuild the app rather than move the code. See DoAny vs Emergent for how it compares with DoAny.

  4. Keep the code

Replit: for continuing your Rocket code

Best for: someone who will keep developing the code Rocket wrote, in a full workspace with an AI agent. Replit imports public and private GitHub repositories and ZIP files, and its Launch feature builds, signs and uploads Expo apps to App Store Connect.

Watch out for: it is a developer’s tool. You, or a developer, maintain the code, backend and deploys, and Launch is built around Expo, not Rocket’s Flutter. Publishing and production databases are billed as usage once Core’s monthly allowances run out.

Price: Core is $20 a month, or $18 billed yearly, and includes $20 a month toward its most powerful AI models. Pro is $100 a month, or $90 billed yearly (Replit pricing).

Moving from Rocket: on Rocket Pro, push to GitHub or download the zip, then import it. Your Supabase project lives in your own account, not Rocket’s.

  5. Page-change alerts

Visualping: for watching other companies’ pages while Intelligence is paused

Best for: an alert when another company’s pricing, features or other pages change, which covers part of what Rocket Intelligence does.

Watch out for: it watches the pages you pick; it doesn’t research a market, rank signals across sources or build anything. AI change summaries, webhooks and the API come on every plan; Slack, Teams and Google Sheets alerts, upgraded AI analysis and advanced reports are Business-only.

Price: Free covers 5 pages and 150 checks a month. Personal starts at $14 a month for 1,000 checks across 10 pages; Personal 10K is $70 a month, or $600 a year, for 10,000 checks across 40 pages. Business starts at $140 a month, or $1,200 a year, for 20,000 checks, 200 pages and 5 users, with a 14-day trial and no card.

Moving from Rocket: nothing to migrate; list the pages you were tracking and add them one by one.

Only used Rocket for research? Light Solve is on every Rocket plan, Free included, and can return a PDF, PPT, HTML page or a PRD, a product requirements document; Full Solve (about 45 minutes, 150+ sources) is on the $50 Rocket plan. You may not need to leave at all.

When staying on Rocket.new is the right call

Stay on Rocket if one of these is your main need.

If you stay, check three things

Privacy on Free. Free projects are public, and the Rocket Terms let Rocket train on free users’ apps. Upgrade before you build an idea you haven’t announced.

Your Supabase tier. Its free tier allows 2 active projects and pauses a project after a week of inactivity; Pro is from $25 a month.

Old links. Replace any builtwithrocket.new link you’ve shared, printed or put in a QR code.

Switching

Leaving Rocket.new: the exit checklist

The same steps apply whichever alternative you choose. Do them in order, before you cancel.

  1. Build the new version first

Keep Rocket running until the replacement works. Rocket’s Rocket help FAQ says projects stay accessible after you cancel, but the Rocket Terms say that after termination you have no further access to your content. Don’t rely on the gentler reading.

  2. Download the code

On Pro, the Code tab downloads a zip in a web browser, not the mobile app. The zip is a snapshot and doesn’t update with later changes, so download it last.

  3. Push to GitHub

GitHub push also needs Pro. Flutter and JavaScript-only projects are push-only, so press Push after your final change in Rocket.

  4. Export your research

Solve reports export as PDF, PPT, HTML or a PRD. Save any you’ll want later before the account closes.

  5. Keep Supabase and Stripe, move the domain

Your Supabase project and Stripe account are yours and stay where they are. If the new builder runs its own database, export the tables you need first, because customer logins and records don’t move across by themselves. Point your domain’s DNS at the new host and remove Rocket’s Vercel records.

  6. Cancel at the end of a cycle

Every credit, purchased add-ons included, expires when the cycle ends, and the Rocket Terms make fees non-refundable. Use what you’ve paid for, then cancel.

Moving to DoAny specifically? The DoAny vs Rocket.new page covers importing your code and data, the payments go-live and the exact DNS records to replace.

Questions founders ask

Rocket.new alternatives FAQ

What is the best Rocket.new alternative?

For a non-technical founder who wants a web business with checkout and help after launch: DoAny (ours; its $0 Free plan can take real card payments, and Pro is $25 a month). For a web app with a built-in backend: Lovable (Pro $25 a month). For iPhone and Android apps without a Mac: Emergent (Standard $20 a month). To keep developing Rocket’s code: Replit (Core $20 a month). For page-change alerts: Visualping (free for 5 pages, paid from $14 a month).

Which Rocket.new alternative builds iPhone apps without a Mac?

Emergent builds iOS and Android apps with Expo and runs store builds on Expo’s cloud service, so its docs say no Xcode or Android Studio is needed; you download the code and run the build and submit commands, and the Mobile Agent needs a paid plan from $20 a month. Replit’s Launch feature builds, signs and uploads Expo apps to App Store Connect. On Rocket, the App Store release means Xcode on a Mac. DoAny makes web apps only.

Can I move my Rocket.new project to another builder?

Only from a paid plan: Rocket’s code download and GitHub push both need Pro. Replit imports GitHub repositories and ZIP files, so it can take your Rocket code as it is. Lovable can’t import a repository, so moving there means a rebuild. DoAny imports your exported code and database records, so you don’t start over. Your Supabase project and Stripe account stay yours, but DoAny runs its own database and opens a new Stripe account, so export your tables first; customer logins don’t transfer automatically.

What can replace Rocket Intelligence while it is paused?

For watching specific pages, Visualping. Its Free plan covers 5 pages; Personal starts at $14 a month, and 40 pages with 10,000 checks costs $70 a month or $600 a year. It alerts you when a page changes; it doesn’t research a market or build anything. Rocket’s docs said new Intelligence sessions were paused when we checked on September 25, 2026, and its plan guide puts “competitive intelligence” on the $50 Rocket plan and above.

Which Rocket.new alternative is cheapest?

To sell, DoAny starts at $0: its Free plan can go live and take real card payments, with 0% of your sales (Stripe’s fees apply). Emergent’s Free plan is for personal, non-commercial use only, and Lovable’s built-in payments need a paid plan. Among paid plans, Emergent Standard and Replit Core are $20 a month; DoAny Pro, Lovable Pro and Rocket Pro are $25. Yearly billing lowers every price but DoAny’s; see the 12-month table for totals and running costs.

Is there a free Rocket.new alternative?

Yes. DoAny Free gives 5 credits a day, up to 30 a month, with no card, can take real card payments once you go live with Stripe, and isn’t used to train AI models. Lovable Free gives 5 credits a day too, but may train on them unless you opt out, and its built-in payments need a paid plan. Emergent Free gives 10 credits a month, without the Mobile Agent, for personal, non-commercial use only. Visualping Free watches 5 pages.

Put the evidence to work

Try DoAny before you cancel Rocket.

Build your first version on the Free plan: 5 credits a day, no card. It goes live on its own address the same day, you can test checkout with Stripe test cards while Rocket keeps running, and taking real payments doesn’t need an upgrade. Compare the two in DoAny vs Rocket.new or browse every comparison.
