  • Each column is the cheapest plan that can take real card payments. Blink needs Pro, because its checkout and webhooks run on Blink Backend. Base44 offers Stripe from Builder. Lovable’s built-in payments need a paid plan, but Free can connect your own Stripe account. Every DoAny plan, Free included, can take real card payments.
  • Without a domain of your own, DoAny Free publishes on yourname.doany.site, Lovable Free on a lovable.app address and Blink on a blinkpowered.com address. Turn on “You want your own domain” to price one.
  • Hosting: on DoAny it uses no credits. Blink’s uses 50 of Pro’s 200 monthly plan credits for up to 10,000 visits and renews every 30 days. Lovable’s draws on a 20-credit monthly Cloud grant.
  • Blink and Base44 are priced on yearly billing, paid up front, their lowest listed rates; Blink’s fees are non-refundable. Billed monthly, Blink Pro is $50 a month and Base44 Builder $50. DoAny bills monthly only.
  • Card processing fees are left out. On DoAny, Blink and Base44 they are Stripe’s own fees, paid by you. On Lovable they are Stripe’s or Paddle’s, at the same rates as going to either directly.
  • Rocket, Bolt and Replit aren’t priced here: the pages we checked don’t say which of their plans can take real payments. Their entry prices are in the table below.
  • Plan prices only: building work, AI features inside your app and domain registration are left out, and each product’s credits buy different work.

How we calculated this

The reasons

Why founders look beyond Blink

Blink builds a working app with a database, sign-in and hosting in one place. These six limits come from its own pricing, docs and legal pages.

$50/mo

The cheapest Blink plan that can take a real payment, or $300 paid a year up front. On any plan you can build a plans page and connect Stripe, but “Taking real payments needs Pro” (payments page).

50 credits

What production hosting uses for each product every month, up to 10,000 visits, renewed every 30 days. If a renewal fails, the app shows as paused and goes offline after 7 days (hosting docs).

Public

Every project on the Free plan. Anyone can see a public project in Blink and remix it into their own copy; private projects start on Starter (collaboration guide).

Live keys only

Blink rejects Stripe test keys. You test checkout with a 100%-off code on your own card (Blink Stripe docs).

Non-refundable

Every Blink fee, a year paid up front included (terms). Auto-reload, if you turn it on, starts with no monthly cap (Blink plans and credits).

Blink’s SDK

What the app uses for sign-in, data, storage and AI, “so it keeps running on Blink” (founders page). The code export leaves out secrets and database data (export docs).

Blink’s prices also differ between its own pages. Its pricing page sells top-ups at $40 per 100 credits, while its plans and credits docs list $25 per 100, and the Starter card shows $13 a month for a year that costs $150. Check the date on any Blink price you read, ours included.

The shortlist

The six Blink alternatives, priced

  1. Our product

DoAny: best for selling from day one without a plan to pay for

Best for: selling from day one. Blink needs Pro to take real payments; DoAny Free can, through a Stripe account it opens for you, with no keys to paste. Annie researches your idea first, builds the app with accounts and a database, and keeps posting and answering customers after launch.

Price: Free is $0 with no card: 5 credits a day, and it can take real card payments once you go live with Stripe. Pro starts at $25/mo for 100 monthly credits. DoAny takes 0% of your sales; Stripe’s processing fees still apply (DoAny pricing; DoAny Terms).

Watch out for: web apps only, with no native store apps. Editing is by chat, with no visual editor or rollback screen. Custom domains need Pro. The checkout on the sites DoAny builds is Stripe only, with no coupons or sales-tax handling at the moment. Those sites can’t bring an existing Stripe account yet.

Moving from Blink: hosting uses no credits, so nothing renews every 30 days as Blink’s 50-credit hosting does, and the site stays live at zero credits. DoAny imports existing code and database records, so hand it Blink’s GitHub sync and CSV exports instead of starting over, and rehearse checkout with Stripe test cards first. The step-by-step order is in DoAny vs Blink.

  2. Closest builder

Lovable: best for the same kind of builder with private free projects

Lovable builds web apps from chat, much like Blink. Its Free plan lists workspace-private projects and 5 lovable.app addresses, with 5 credits a day up to 30 a month (Lovable plans and credits). Pro adds custom domains, top-ups and unused monthly credits that carry over.

Watch out for: Lovable’s built-in payments need a paid plan; on Free you connect your own Stripe account instead, per its payments docs. Hosting and the built-in backend draw on a 20-credit monthly Cloud grant. Our DoAny vs Lovable page covers what happens when it runs out.

Price: Free $0; Pro $25/mo, or $250 billed yearly, per Lovable’s subscription plans; Business $50/mo.

  3. Test mode

Base44: best for Stripe with a test run before real money

Base44 is an all-in-one app builder with a database, sign-in and analytics. Payments start in Stripe’s test environment, and you switch to live payments by claiming the Stripe sandbox and connecting your own account, per its Base44 Stripe guide. Builder includes 250 message credits a month, GitHub and a free domain for a year.

Watch out for: Stripe is available from Builder up, so selling costs $480 a year billed yearly or $50 a month. Credits come in two pools, message and integration. Free allows up to 5 apps.

Price: Starter $16/mo billed yearly or $20 monthly, which connects a domain; Builder $40 or $50. Yearly billing saves 20%.

  4. Phone apps and research

Rocket: best for web and phone apps with credits that carry over

Rocket builds websites, web apps and mobile apps, and adds research on demand. Its credits carry over while your plan is active (they expire if you cancel), per its Rocket credits guide, and every plan has no seat fees. Its Rocket FAQ says it generates Flutter apps for iOS and Android.

Watch out for: you download the Flutter code on a paid plan and submit it through Xcode and Google Play Console yourself. Payments run on Stripe keys you paste in, and Rocket advises connecting Supabase first for user accounts (Rocket Stripe guide). Custom domains need Pro.

Price: Free $0 with 20 credits; Pro $25/mo for 100 monthly credits; Rocket $50 for 250; Booster $250 for 1,500. Yearly billing saves 20%.

  5. Tokens, not credits

Bolt: best for token-metered building with free hosting

Bolt meters building in tokens: 300,000 a day and 1 million a month on Free, and from 10 million a month on Pro, where unused tokens carry into the next month. Website hosting is included on Free. Bolt integrates with Stripe for payments and subscriptions (Bolt Stripe guide).

Watch out for: Free sites carry Bolt branding, and custom domains start on Pro. Bolt’s Stripe guide doesn’t say which plan can take real payments, so check before you build a store.

Price: Free $0; Pro $25/mo; Teams $30 per member a month. Yearly billing saves up to 28%.

  6. Your own code workspace

Replit: best for keeping the code where a developer can work on it

Replit is a development workspace with an AI agent. Core includes $20 a month toward the most powerful models, plan mode and workspaces without a cap. It suits a founder who expects to hand the code to a developer.

Watch out for: it is a coding workspace more than a no-code builder. Its pricing FAQ covers effort-based, pay-as-you-go pricing and spending controls; read them before you build.

Price: Core $20/mo, or $18/mo billed yearly; Pro $100/mo, or $90 billed yearly.

A valid choice

When staying with Blink is the right call

You need a native app in the stores

On Max, from $200 a month, Blink builds and signs your mobile app: iOS builds go to TestFlight and Android builds download as AAB or APK (store publishing docs). In-app purchases run through RevenueCat. Among the picks here, Rocket makes Flutter apps, but you build and submit them yourself.

Your site doesn’t sell, and you want your own domain

Starter billed yearly is $150 for the year, with production hosting and a custom domain for 5 credits (pricing). That is less than DoAny Pro ($300), Lovable Pro ($250) or Base44 Starter ($192) for a year.

You like clicking to edit, and restoring

Blink’s Visual Editor lets you click an element and change its text, color, layout and spacing (changelog), and every AI turn saves a version you can restore and publish (publish docs).

You already sell through your own Stripe account

Blink connects the Stripe account you have, creates promo codes and sets up Stripe’s customer portal, and it adds no fee on your sales (payments page). Moving means new payment setup and a plan for current subscribers.

Common questions

Blink alternatives FAQ

Which Blink alternative can take payments on a free plan?

DoAny Free and Lovable Free both cost $0 and can take real card payments. DoAny Free sells through a Stripe Express account DoAny opens for your business, with no keys to paste, and DoAny takes 0% of your sales; Stripe’s processing fees still apply. Lovable Free connects your own Stripe account. On Blink, real payments need Pro, $50 a month or $300 a year, and Base44 offers Stripe from Builder, $40 a month billed yearly. Prices checked September 27, 2026.

Which Blink alternative builds native mobile apps?

Rocket generates Flutter apps for iOS and Android; you download the code on a paid plan and submit it through Xcode and Google Play Console yourself. DoAny builds web apps only. If you want store builds made for you, Blink Max, from $200 a month, sends iOS builds to TestFlight and Android builds as AAB or APK files, so staying on Blink can be the right call.

Is there a Blink alternative with private projects on the free plan?

Yes. Lovable’s Free plan lists workspace-private projects. Blink’s Free plan is public-only: anyone can see a public project in Blink and remix it into their own copy, and private projects start on Starter, $25 a month or $150 a year. DoAny Free publishes your product on its own yourname.doany.site address.

Which option is cheapest on my own domain?

If you don’t sell online, Blink Starter billed yearly, at $150 for the year, is the cheapest here. If you do, Lovable Pro billed yearly is $250; DoAny Pro is $300 billed monthly, the same as Blink Pro billed yearly; and Base44 Builder is $480 billed yearly. DoAny doesn’t sell domains, so you buy the domain elsewhere.

Can I move a Blink project to another builder?

Yes, with some work. Sync the code to GitHub, which works on every Blink plan, and export each table as CSV or JSON. The code export leaves out secrets and database data, and the app keeps calling Blink’s SDK for sign-in, data, storage and AI, so those parts need replacing at the new host. DoAny imports existing code and database records, so hand Annie both instead of starting over.
