Where DoAny is different
On DoAny, keeping the site, database, files and functions online uses no credits. When credits run out, AI work pauses and the site stays live. Atoms pays for hosting from a dollar balance that its plan doesn’t fill: “Upgrading your plan doesn’t add money to your Cloud & AI balance,” per its credits guide. When that balance is empty, Publish and Update are blocked (publish guide).
DoAny credits stop hard. Each top-up is a Stripe checkout you start, and DoAny buys no ads, so all you ever pay DoAny is your plan and the credits you chose to buy. Atoms offers opt-in Auto Top-up on Pro and Max, and says its monthly limit is “not necessarily an instant shutoff” (wallet guide). Its ads agent spends in your Google Ads account, where “Google bills the ad spend directly” (Atoms blog).
DoAny Pro sells top-ups at $15 per 50 credits, valid for 12 months and spent after your plan credits (DoAny pricing). Atoms sells no build-credit top-ups; to get more you move up a tier, where the next Pro size is $50 a month for 250 credits.
Annie posts every day in the feeds and communities your buyers already trust, finds customers and follows up, runs your CRM and answers customers around the clock, as the DoAny homepage describes. Atoms’ growth agents write SEO pages and run Google Search ads you pay Google for. We found no social posting, outreach, CRM or customer-support agent in Atoms’ help center.
Atoms’ edge
A fan of Atoms would list these, and they are right. Several are things DoAny does not do at all.
Atoms Pro is $20 a month against DoAny Pro’s $25, and billed yearly it is $15.80 a month, 21% off, paid as $189.60 up front (Pricing). DoAny has no annual plan. Over a year, counting Atoms’ $25 Cloud credit, Atoms costs less until your Cloud usage passes about $7 a month ($11 on a yearly plan); the calculator above finds your break-even.
You can adjust layouts in a visual editor, change files in a code editor with diffs, and pick an earlier version and select “Restore to this version,” per its agents guide. DoAny is chat-only, with saved versions but no rollback button.
Since May 6, 2026, Atoms can generate mobile app projects, preview them by QR code and produce an Android build package, according to its changelog. DoAny builds responsive web apps that customers can add to their home screen, but no native iPhone or Android apps.
Adrian plans, creates and tunes Google Search campaigns in your own ad account. He needs two owner approvals and creates campaigns paused (Ads agent guide). Pro shows your GA4 reports inside Atoms. DoAny buys no ads by design and has no visitor analytics dashboard. Atoms’ ads page also promises Meta, but its Atoms ads FAQ says “Meta support is on the roadmap.”
Atoms lets you pick the AI model (model guide), and Max adds Race Mode, which runs one prompt across several models so you keep the best result (homepage). You can buy a domain inside Atoms. Its Free plan allows 2 backend projects, where DoAny Free has no company limit and every company shares one credit balance.
Atoms’ maker, DeepWisdom, raised $31M: Ant Group led the Series A and Cathay Innovation the A+ (funding post). Before Atoms, the team built and open-sourced the MetaGPT multi-agent framework.
Some things are simply equal. Both take 0% of your sales, both pay into your own Stripe account, and both let you export code and sync it to GitHub (Atoms on Pro). DoAny doesn’t train AI on your data, and Atoms’ policy says it doesn’t either. DoAny has no SSO. The checkout on the sites it builds is Stripe only, with no coupons, free trials or sales-tax handling at the moment.
Arithmetic on published prices
List prices checked September 27, 2026, US dollars before tax. Atoms publishes no rate card for Cloud usage, so the $15 and $10 a month below are example figures to show the arithmetic, not Atoms rates. The Atoms figures count its $25 Cloud credit.

Two dates to know. Atoms’ paid prices haven’t changed since at least December 19, 2025, when it was still MGX and its Free plan gave 7.5 credits a day under the same 25-a-month cap (archived MGX pricing).
The $25 Cloud credit is a March 2026 promotion: Atoms says it “credited every user account”, and its Atoms Cloud guide adds that “Promotional amounts and eligibility can change.” Without it, add $25 to each $15-a-month total. Break-even drops to $5 a month ($9.20 billed yearly), and the no-domain case needs Pro from month one: $360. The calculator’s “Count Atoms’ $25 Cloud credit” toggle prices it either way.
Before you pay yearly
A second meter. Hosting, the database and storage draw on the Cloud balance, in dollars, not on your plan’s credits. Atoms publishes no rate card, and on the Free plan “top-ups must be unlocked,” per its wallet guide. You see your usage only after you sign up, in Settings, then Cloud & AI.
At zero. An empty balance shows “Your Cloud Balance is insufficient to publish,” and a paused app still costs money: “Billing continues while it is paused” (publish guide). A low balance “may interrupt eligible cloud services or published applications” (Atoms Cloud guide).
Spending that keeps going. The wallet’s monthly limit is “a spending guardrail, not necessarily an instant shutoff.” Once storage passes your plan’s allowance, “pay-as-you-go cannot be turned off” until you bring it back down (disk guide).
Refunds. You can ask within 24 hours of a charge (14 days in the EU, UK or Turkey), or until your credits start being used, whichever comes first. On a yearly plan, “the full year is non-refundable” once it begins (refund guide).
The exit is paid. Free users who select Export or GitHub get an upgrade prompt. GitHub sync can’t use an existing repository, and Push sends changes “immediately without asking for confirmation,” overwriting GitHub (GitHub guide). Your app’s Users screen lists sign-ups, but Atoms documents no way to export them (Users guide).
The contract. The Atoms Terms give Atoms’ provider the “sole right to interpret the provisions of this agreement.” On termination it may “delete any materials or data associated with your account,” and it can close a free account inactive for a year, after 30 days’ email notice.

The contracting party is MetaGPT LLC, a Delaware company, under US federal and Delaware law. Atoms’ privacy policy says “Atoms is hosted in the United States” and that the service is aimed at US users. The company behind it, DeepWisdom, is based in Shenzhen, with a team of about 80, according to Pandaily.
Getting paid
Both run payments through Stripe, pay into an account in your name and add no fee of their own. The difference is how the account is connected and who can reach it.
Customers pay by card and “the money lands in your Stripe account,” for one-time purchases, subscriptions or discount codes, per the e-commerce FAQ. Atoms Cloud adds a test mode with Stripe’s test card numbers. You connect your own Stripe account, and like every connector it gives the agents real access to that account, so review it under Settings, then Connectors.
When you go live, customers pay through direct charges on a Stripe Express account DoAny opens for your business. You are the merchant, and checkout shows your business name. DoAny never holds your revenue; Stripe pays your bank on its normal schedule. You set up no keys or webhooks, and taking payments uses no credits.
Ask Annie for checkout; an approval card offers “Set up payments” and “Not now,” and nothing changes until you press one. There is no Stripe connector for agents to hold, because DoAny opens the Stripe Express account for your business itself.
The preview takes Stripe’s test cards before Stripe knows your name, much as Atoms Cloud’s test mode does. Then press “Go live,” pick your country and complete Stripe’s verification (DoAny payments guide).
DoAny Free can sell, so Pro isn’t needed for real payments, and keeping checkout online draws on no balance; on Atoms, an empty Cloud balance blocks Publish. The selling online chapter covers the first sale.

Export and GitHub sync need a paid plan, so do this before you downgrade. In Share, select Export to download a ZIP, and connect GitHub if you want the code in a repository too.
As the workspace owner, open each table in the Database module and select Export CSV. Clear any search or filter first: with one on, only the matching rows export.
Hand Annie the code and the CSV files. DoAny imports existing code and database records, so the move is a check, not a restart. Your app’s users need to sign up again or reset their passwords, since their logins don’t move with the data. Check the preview, then run a test purchase.
Checkout on a DoAny site can’t take over an existing Stripe account yet. Going live opens a new Stripe Express account for your DoAny business, so plan how active subscribers move, and settle refunds in your old Stripe account first.
On DoAny Pro, add the domain in the Domains panel: DoAny shows the DNS records, verifies them and issues HTTPS. Records proxied through Cloudflare (the orange cloud) aren’t supported, so switch proxying off. Atoms’ domains guide covers moving a domain between Atoms projects, not out of Atoms, so ask Atoms Support first if you bought yours in the app.
Pausing an Atoms Cloud app still bills, so unpublish it once the DoAny site is live, and turn off Auto Top-up if you set it up. Cancelling moves you to Free at the end of the paid term, and unused paid credits expire then.
