DoAny vs Gumloop: agents for your team, or a business customers can buy from?

Gumloop builds AI agents your team runs inside the tools it already uses, from $37 a month with no free plan. DoAny builds a public app where customers sign up and pay, free to start; Pro is $25 a month.

Over 12 months, the most Gumloop Pro can bill you is $444, at its $37 entry price with overage off, its default. Switched on, overage can add up to $5,000 a month. DoAny Free costs $0; its credits stop hard, with no overage to switch on.

  • Gumloop’s overage is off by default, so agents stop when the 20,000 included credits run out. Switched on, it bills $0.005 a credit, up to 1,000,000 credits ($5,000) per billing period unless you set a lower cap.
  • At zero credits, DoAny pauses AI work and tells you, with no overage or automatic recharge, and the site stays live. A Pro top-up, $15 for 50 credits, costs extra only when you buy one: each is a checkout you start.
  • Gumloop’s 14-day Pro trial needs a card and rolls into paid Pro unless you cancel first; the totals count every month as paid.
  • Gumloop Pro is priced at its entry price: its pricing page says it starts at $37 a month. It is the only Gumloop plan with a public price; Enterprise is custom-priced.
  • A Gumloop credit and a DoAny credit buy different work, so this compares the most each can bill, not what the credits do. DoAny Free’s $0 holds as long as 5 credits a day, up to 30 a month, covers your work; Pro, from $25 a month, adds 100 monthly credits.
  • Only DoAny takes payments here. It takes 0% of your sales on every plan, Free included; Stripe’s processing fees still apply and are left out.

Prices and fees checked September 25, 2026

How we calculated this
  1. Gumloop Pro: $37 × 12 = $444.
  2. Gumloop overage: off, so $0. Agents stop when the 20,000 included credits run out.
  3. The most Gumloop can bill: $444 + $0 = $444.
  4. DoAny Free: $0 × 12 = $0. Credits stop hard: no overage and no automatic recharge.

Where DoAny is different

DoAny vs Gumloop: four differences when you’re starting a business

A product strangers can use

DoAny builds a real web app and hosts it: customer sign-up and login, including “Continue with Google”, a database, file uploads and backend functions. It goes live at yourname.doany.site with HTTPS, and on Pro you can connect a domain you own.

Gumloop’s hosted pages work the other way: every visitor signs in with a Gumloop account, outsiders pay with their own credits, and there is no custom domain (Gumloop hosted pages). Artifacts can be public and, since August 25, 2026, served from your organization’s domain (Gumloop changelog), but a public artifact “gets no integrations at all” (Gumloop agent artifacts).

A checkout that pays into your own Stripe account

When you go live, which you can do on the Free plan, customer payments are charges on your own Stripe account, opened for your business through Stripe Connect. Checkout shows your business name, Stripe pays out to your bank on its normal schedule, and DoAny’s Terms rule out a revenue share (DoAny Terms of Service). Stripe’s processing fees still apply.

Gumloop doesn’t take a cut either, because it doesn’t sell for you. Its Stripe connector has 20 tools for customers, subscriptions, invoices and coupons in an account you already run. None of them creates a checkout or a payment link (Gumloop Stripe MCP server).

No overage switch, and your site stays up at zero

Hosting doesn’t use credits, so at zero your site, data and checkout stay online and only AI work pauses. DoAny credits stop hard, with “No overage, no automatic recharge” (How to run a company solo). No card is charged in the background.

Gumloop also stops agents at zero by default, but one switch turns on overage, billed after use up to $5,000 a billing period unless you set a lower cap (Gumloop credits).

One agent runs the company, not one process

Annie, DoAny’s agent, researches your idea and market before building, then builds the product. After launch she posts every day, finds prospects and follows up, runs your CRM and answers customers around the clock (DoAny homepage).

The big calls wait for you on an approval card: turning on payments, a paid video render, a new recurring job, connecting an outside account or saving an automation. Typing “yes” in chat doesn’t count; it’s a button. Gumloop’s default for connector actions is “Always allow”, and you can switch each connector to ask first (Gumloop human in the loop).

Credit where it’s due

Where Gumloop is stronger

If you’re automating work inside a company that already exists, these are real advantages, and DoAny doesn’t match them.

Connectors and channels

300+ connectors, MCP servers and agents that run inside Slack and Microsoft Teams (Gumloop homepage). Pro includes one hosted MCP server (Gumloop pricing). DoAny has no connector marketplace; each outside service needs a backend function and your API key.

Approval rules you can tune

Each connector can be set to Always allow, Ask each time, Ask for writes/deletes or Custom, down to blocking a single tool. The docs call Ask for writes/deletes “a great default”. Approvals reach you in chat, on a Tasks page and in Slack, and a paused agent “can wait indefinitely” (Gumloop human in the loop).

Security paperwork for IT

Gumloop’s homepage says it is SOC 2 Type II audited and has zero data retention agreements with third-party model providers (Gumloop homepage). SAML SSO, audit logs and SCIM, which lets IT add and remove users automatically, come with its Enterprise plan (Gumloop pricing). DoAny has no SSO.

Model choice

35+ models and bring-your-own API keys (you pay the model provider directly) on Pro (Gumloop pricing), plus an Auto mode, added September 14, 2026, that picks the model for each task (Gumloop changelog).

A track record with large teams

Gumloop’s homepage announces a $50M Series B led by Benchmark and quotes customers such as Instacart, Samsara and Gusto (Gumloop homepage).

Speed of shipping

Gumloop shipped eight numbered releases between September 2 and September 24, 2026 (10.26.0 to 11.2.0), including Owner and User agent roles on September 18 (Gumloop changelog).

DoAny’s limits for this job

No connector marketplace, no SSO, no SMS or phone, and no visitor analytics dashboard. You edit by chat; there is no visual editor. The checkout on the sites DoAny builds is Stripe only at the moment and can’t bring an existing Stripe account yet. DoAny builds web apps, not native iOS or Android apps. If your plan needs any of these today, use another tool for that part.

Pricing, worked through

Gumloop pricing vs DoAny pricing: what $37, $0 and $25 buy

Gumloop figures from its credits documentation; DoAny figures from its pricing page.

$0.00185

What each included Gumloop Pro credit costs ($37 ÷ 20,000). Overage credits cost $0.005, 2.7 times as much.

43 runs

How many full runs of the 459-credit example chat in Gumloop’s credits docs fit in 20,000 credits (20,000 ÷ 459 = 43.6).

324 credits

One hour of active agent compute on Gumloop: 5 credits a minute plus the 8% fee. That’s $1.62 at $0.005 a credit, before any model tokens.

$25

DoAny Pro: 100 monthly credits plus 5 more every day, or 250 in a 30-day month if you use each day’s 5, and connecting a domain you own. Hosting, the database, customer accounts and live Stripe checkout already come with Free at $0. Neither hosting nor taking payments uses credits.

A scheduled agent, priced on Gumloop Pro

Run the 459-credit chat three times every weekday and a 22-weekday month needs 30,294 credits. Pro’s 20,000 run out on the 15th weekday. With overage off, later runs fail, and after 3 failures the trigger switches off until someone re-enables it (Gumloop triggers help). With overage on, the extra 10,294 credits cost $51.47, making the month $88.47 (Gumloop credits). DoAny has no overage; AI work pauses, the site and checkout stay online, and 5 daily credits arrive at midnight UTC.

In the first-month row, Pro at $25 is only for your own domain or more credits, and DoAny takes 0% of your sales; Stripe’s processing fees apply.

Your own API key is cheaper in credits, not always in dollars

Gumloop’s docs price one example chat at 459 credits, or 93 with your own model key, but you then pay the model provider about $2.00 for the tokens yourself. Past your included credits, at the $0.005 overage rate, that’s $2.295 standard against $2.465 with your key, so the key saves dollars only if your provider charges at least 8.5% below list.

Read before you start a trial

Gumloop fine print worth reading

Trial

The trial needs a card and converts

The 14-day Pro trial “requires a card” and rolls into paid Pro unless you cancel first. Paid fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise (Gumloop cancel your plan or trial).

Automations

Triggers switch themselves off

After 3 consecutive failed runs, a trigger turns off. Expired credentials and running out of credits are among the listed causes. Gumloop emails you, but someone has to re-enable the trigger by hand after fixing the cause (Gumloop why triggers turn off).

Capacity

Past 25 at once, runs are dropped

Pro allows 25 concurrent agent interactions. Past that, web chat shows an error, the API refuses the request and scheduled trigger runs are skipped. Only Enterprise queues them (Gumloop rate limits).

Data and ownership

The no-training promise has a scope

Gumloop’s privacy policy promises no AI training on uploaded data, flows or agent chats “for premium users” (Gumloop privacy policy). With no free plan left, that covers paying accounts; the policy doesn’t say whether trial accounts count. Its Terms say you retain rights to content you submit but don’t address AI-generated output (Gumloop Terms). DoAny’s Terms say that, as between you and DoAny, you own the websites, software and copy generated for you, subject to third-party and open-source licenses (DoAny Terms). DoAny does not train AI models on your data.

Old reviews

Plans in older reviews are gone

Solo and Team merged into Pro on March 9, 2026 (Gumloop changelog), and the pricing page lists no free plan (Gumloop pricing). Reviews that quote a $37 Solo plan or a free tier are out of date.

What you’ll see in DoAny

From idea to a checkout that pays you, step by step

This is the flow Gumloop doesn’t offer, described from inside the product we build.

  1. Describe the idea

Write it in plain words, in any language. Annie researches the idea and your market first, so you see whether it holds up before anything ships.

  2. The first version goes live the same day

During the first build the site publishes to its own yourname.doany.site address with HTTPS, and DoAny emails you when it’s live.

  3. Approve payments on a card

Ask for checkout and Annie shows an approval card with two buttons: “Set up payments” or “Not now”. Nothing changes until you press one. Typing “sure” in chat doesn’t count.

  4. Test with Stripe test cards

In the editor preview, pay with Stripe’s test card 4242 4242 4242 4242. Nothing is charged, and you haven’t given Stripe any details yet (DoAny setting up payments).

  5. Press Go live in the Payments panel

Pick your country and complete Stripe’s own verification. A sole trader can sell; you don’t need a registered company. It works on the Free plan; you don’t need Pro to take real payments. From then on, card payments land in your own Stripe account, and the Payments panel shows orders and payouts.

  6. Preview, then Publish

Later changes land on a private preview. The live site changes only when you press Publish, and a failed build never replaces the working version. The Code and Data views show every file and record, and the SEO & AEO checklist has a “Fix with AI” button for anything it flags.

Live payments are available for businesses registered in 42 countries, including the US, UK, Canada, Australia and every EU country. The full walkthrough is in the chapter on selling online.

Switching notes

Moving customer-facing work from Gumloop to DoAny

Most teams won’t move everything. Internal agents can stay on Gumloop while the product customers use moves to DoAny. For the part that moves, work in this order.

  1. Save your skills and agent setups. Skills download as SKILL.md folders (Gumloop skills), and the API’s Retrieve agent version call returns each agent’s model, system prompt and tools, with credentials stripped (Gumloop API reference). The full export order is in the Gumloop exit checklist. If you’re leaving entirely, cancel before the renewal date: fees are non-refundable (Gumloop cancellation help).
  2. Hand Annie the brief and your existing work. Skill instructions are plain text: paste the ones that describe your customer-facing work into your first DoAny chat. If that work already runs on a site with its own code and database, such as the one that triggers your agents by webhook, bring your exported code and database records too; DoAny imports them, so you don’t start over. Customer passwords don’t come across; customers sign in again or reset them. Annie then researches, builds and publishes the first version to yourname.doany.site.
  3. List every connector the agent uses. DoAny has no connector catalog. Annie writes a backend function for each outside service, and your API key goes into DoAny’s encrypted secrets vault.
  4. Plan the payment move. Checkout on a DoAny site can’t take over an existing Stripe account yet. Going live opens a new Stripe account for the business through Stripe Connect. Subscriptions in your current Stripe account stay there; DoAny’s checkout starts new ones in the new account.
  5. Point your domain. Gumloop hosted agent pages only run on gumloopagents.com (Gumloop hosted pages). If you served artifacts from your own domain (Gumloop agent artifacts), repoint that DNS record when you move. On DoAny Pro, connect a domain you own from the Domains panel; DoAny shows the DNS records, verifies them and issues HTTPS.

Comparing more than two tools? The Gumloop alternatives shortlist compares Make, Zapier, n8n, Lindy and Relevance AI (sales-quoted only) with DoAny on price, fit and what happens at each plan’s limit.

Before choosing

DoAny vs Gumloop FAQ

How much does Gumloop cost?

Gumloop Pro starts at $37 a month for 20,000 credits, and one credit is worth $0.005 at list price. Overage is off by default. If you turn it on, Pro overage is capped at 1,000,000 credits, or $5,000, per billing period unless you set a lower cap. Enterprise is custom-priced. Prices checked September 25, 2026.

Can I try Gumloop or DoAny without a card?

DoAny, yes: the Free plan is $0 with no card, 5 credits a day up to 30 a month, shared by any number of companies, and you can go live and take real card payments on it. Gumloop, no: its pricing page lists no free plan as of September 25, 2026, and the 14-day Pro trial needs a card and rolls into paid Pro at $37 a month unless you cancel first.

Can Gumloop build a website that takes payments?

Not according to its documentation. Hosted agent pages require a Gumloop sign-in. An HTML artifact shared with Anyone opens without one and can use your own domain, but gets no integrations. DoAny builds a public web app with customer accounts, a database and Stripe checkout into your own account, and a Free account can go live and take real card payments at 0% of your sales; Stripe’s processing fees still apply.

Does Gumloop ask before an agent takes an action?

Only if you set it to. The default connector mode is Always allow. You can choose Ask each time, Ask for writes/deletes or per-tool rules, and Gumloop’s docs call Ask for writes/deletes a great default. In DoAny, turning on payments, paid video renders, new recurring jobs, connecting outside accounts and saving automations wait until you press a button on an approval card.

Can I use Gumloop and DoAny together?

Yes, because they do different jobs. Keep Gumloop for internal agents in Slack, Gmail or Salesforce, and use DoAny for the product your customers use: the hosted app, customer accounts and Stripe checkout into your own account. DoAny has no connector marketplace, so any outside service, Gumloop included, is reached by a backend function Annie writes with your API key.

What happens when I run out of credits on each?

On Gumloop, agents stop unless you turned on overage, and a trigger that fails 3 runs in a row switches itself off until someone re-enables it. On DoAny, AI work pauses and DoAny tells you. Your site, data and checkout stay online because hosting doesn’t use credits. Add a top-up, upgrade, or wait for tomorrow’s daily credits.
