Good to know in the euro area
- SEPA Direct Debit costs €0.35 per successful payment on an account in any of these 19 countries.
- Business or corporate cards: Stripe prices commercial, corporate and business cards issued by Visa, Mastercard and Cartes Bancaires as premium cards where its page lists a premium rate.
- Smallest payment: €0.50 in euros. Card networks or your account can cap large payments lower.
- Not included: Stripe Billing or Invoicing, payouts, disputes, platform fees and tax on your own sales. This shows the math only, not advice on passing fees to customers.

Does Stripe charge the same fees in every euro-area country?
For 19 of them, yes. Stripe’s pricing pages for Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia and Spain list the same standard rates: 1.5% + €0.25 for a card issued in the EEA, the same rates for UK and international cards and currency conversion, and SEPA Direct Debit at €0.35. What is the smallest payment Stripe accepts in the euro area?
Stripe’s minimum charge for an account that settles in euros (EUR) is €0.50, so the calculator won’t work out a smaller payment. There is also a largest payment, which your card network or account can set lower.
